Sitcoms, cartoons and romantic comedy movies all have a home on Disney Comedy Channel where a person of any age can tune in and have a laugh. The channel is anchored by classic animated shorts packaged under the title of Mickey's Toontown (there is a definite emphasis and Donald, Pluto and Goofy). Family comedies that include classics like The Shaggy Dog, Absent-Minded Professor, Parent Trap, That Darn Cat and The Great Muppet Caper. As well as more modern classics such as the new versions of Parent Trap and Freaky Friday as well as The Princess Diaries and the TV movie My Date with the President's Daughter.
The network also fully utilizes Touchstone Picture's library of family friendly comedies that capture the giggles of older audiences. Movies such as Splash, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Adventures in Babysitting and the Ernest series are also frequently available for viewing.
